Prices come from the UK Government's Fuel Finder scheme (Motor Fuel Price (Open Data) Regulations 2025). Forecourts must report a price change within 30 minutes, and the app refreshes every 30 minutes.

The app is free. It shows a banner, and sometimes a full-screen ad when you open a station page (never when the app starts). One price alert is included; watching a short optional ad adds another.
Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) that removes ads and allows up to 20 price alerts. You can restore it on a new device from More › Pro › Restore purchase.
No account and no sign-up. Your exact location stays on your phone: to show nearby prices the app only asks our server for the map squares (about 17 miles across) around you. Favourites and settings stay on your device. Price alerts store a notification token and your alert on our server until you delete them. Details are in the privacy policy.
No. It is an independent app that shows open data from the Fuel Finder scheme. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the UK Government or the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
Prices are reported by each retailer. A price may have changed since it was reported, or been reported wrongly. The app shows when each price was last updated and marks prices older than a week. You can report an incorrect price to the scheme at fuel-finder.service.gov.uk.
Location is used only while the app is open, to find stations near you. You can also search a place instead of sharing your location.
The app checks prices every 30 minutes, so an alert normally arrives within 30 minutes of the retailer reporting the new price.
